The Veterans of Age UK North Yorkshire and Darlington will be hosting an event on Wednesday 4th April to celebrate the centenary of the RAF on 1st April. It will take place at Bradbury House and is open to everyone wishing to come along.

There will be talks, music from the Choir and the Ukulele Band, an exhibition of memorabilia, a ‘war time’ menu plus many other exciting and interesting things. It will culminate with a tea dance run by DJ York at 1.30pm.

‘Our Veterans group meets every Wednesday and involves all of the services so we all decided this would be a good way to remember the heroism of the RAF and the way they have served the Country over the last 100 years’ said Gillian Peel CEO.

‘Anybody interested in joining our group, finding out about support for Veterans or just coming along for our party should pop in on the 4th April, it will be a fun and interesting day'.
